At Kings we’re committed to supporting mission, be it in the ‘traditional’ sense of mission abroad, or be it in supporting each other in the workplace. Whilst the church has supported teams and individuals in Africa, India and Europe (the church has close links with the Novimost project in Bosnia and a church near Barcelona in Spain – around half the church have visited one or the other in the last few years), the team is very keen to encourage Christians to see their workplace as mission field and seeks to support them in this.

Each month we have a ‘God at work’ slot as part of our Sunday morning gathering, where one of the church will share a little about their world of work, after which we will pray for them. A large number of our church work in schools and therefore a ‘teachers forum’ occasionally meets to encourage, support and pray for one another.
