The first stage of the project provides a street level access point. This is the Gap Coffee Shop in Hillfields Village square which has now been running for almost a month.

Though the café runs as a normal business, assistance is available to those with life-dominating problems. To all extents and purposes it is a normal business and will be self-funding within a few months.

Relying heavily on volunteer staff, the shop offers a wide range of food, specialising in all-day breakfasts.

The shop aims to be salt and light in the community, and to reach people with the love of God in a tangible way.
