Springboard was 'birthed' whilst Dave Jamieson was 'pastoring' Kings Church and specific needs arose to provide for those who had 'addiction type problems'. Helen Smith and Dave, after a while of research and visiting different similar projects around the country, decided to set Springboard up as a 'city charity' with the support of city churches.

Springboard is now, therefore, a separate charitable company apart from Kings Church which has it's own charity registration. Although other city churches are involved both by support and providing Trustees, Kings Church is not only the 'mother' of the project but also the main supporter. It is a part of Kings mission into the world.

As Kings has such an important role in this project please visit the shop and be involved as much as you can. If you do not know where it is etc ask Dave to take you down after the Sunday morning service.
