Our meetings take place at 10:30am on Sundays - refreshments are served from 10am. Usually meetings include a form of musical worship, as well as prepared teaching and opportunities to share discussion and receive prayer.
Meeting on a Sunday only accounts for a very small part of what we consider to be "church". When Jesus talked about the church in the Bible he was referring to the people that followed his teachings and his way of life and not to any building in which those people met. At King's Church the people are the church, and we endeavour to reflect this by spending time together socially during the week outside of organised church gatherings and gathering at different church members houses to share lunch after Sunday meetings.
Another principle the Bible demonstrates is that the church is God's family, and that as a family we should build meaningful friendships and relationships with one another, celebrating with each other in the good and mourning with each other in the bad. We seek to model a loving and supportive community.
